NELSPRUIT PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

Nelspruit Photographic Society has been active in Nelspruit as far back as 1969 when digital photography was still a dream and everything was done in film.  

In every generation there are people who keep this medium alive and nowadays it is so easy to take a photo, either with your smartphone, compact camera or DSLR camera.

The basic thing about photography is that it triggers a person to express what he sees and experiences through taking a photo. This passion to share these captured moments with people who feel the same are what has kept Nelspruit Photographic Society going through all these years. 

Club evenings are held once a month usually on the third Thursday of the month.

The members feed off each other's expertise and enthusiasm for photography.

On club evenings, photos entered by Club members will be judged, complemented and enjoyed. Comments from the judges are done in the spirit of learning and growing in photography by everyone. The club arranges fun photographic events and workshops for all who are interested.

No matter your age, photography is the best way to let be and enjoy...

Most of all it’s a place for people from diverse backgrounds, mutually loving photography to have a chance to socialise.

You do not need to be a pro or have a huge camera to join the Club, just a love to capture a moment!
